Paid Monthly

Please carefully read over the rules and regulations for monthly parkers. You will also be given a copy of the rules and asked to sign that you have read and understand them.

Fees Due Date information:

• Due for the following month no later than 3:30 pm on the last working day of current month
• Fees are not refundable in whole or in part
• If payment is not received on time, the parker's access card will be invalidated and will not work to allow entry the next time the parker tries to enter
• This applies to both the 1910 Harney Street garage and the A-Level garage

Late Fees:

• One day late: $5.00
• Two days late: $10.00
• Three days late: $15.00
• Over three days, permit is subject to be canceled and the stall may be reassigned to the next person on waiting list.

If you didn't pay on time:

1. Either park somewhere else or use the 1910 Harney Street garage as an hourly parker while you come up to the Building Commission Office to pay your parking.
2. If you use the 1910 Harney Street garage, you will need to pull a ticket at the ticket dispenser at the entrance to get in. Then bring that ticket to the Building Commission Office with you when you come up to pay your monthly fee. Our office will make a notation on it for the parking attendant at the exit to avoid the hourly charge. You must present that ticket to the attendant at the exit in order to exit the 1910 Harney Street garage
3. Your access card may not be immediately validated for use the day you pay
4. Allow time for the Building Commission staff to enter the payment into the computer system and resync your access card

PLEASE NOTE: At the end of business on the third working day of each month, unpaid permits will be canceled and reissued to someone on the waiting list. In the case of an extreme emergency, and with proper documentation of same, the parker may petition to have the permit reinstated, subject to the late payment fee.

Payment methods:

1. By mail (check only) if received in time. NOTE: We are not responsible for payments that were mailed or sent in an interoffice envelope that did not arrive in our office on time.
2. By cash, check or credit card in the Building Commission Office (Room 1205 Civic Center)
3. On the last two working days of the month in the Civic Center Farnam Lunchroom between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
4. Parking in the 1910 Harney Street garage may be paid at the attendant booth by cash, check or credit card.
5. Payments for monthly parking permits may be made on a monthly basis or in advance for more than one month at a time.

Rules and Regulations for Monthly Parkers
The following rules apply to monthly parkers in the Omaha Douglas Civic Center parking garage at the 1910 Harney Street and the & A-Level garage:

1. Monthly parking is restricted to A-Level in the Civic Center building and designated levels in the 1910 Harney Street garage.
2. Parking in the 1910 Harney Street garage will be at the rate of $55.00 per month
3. Parking on A-Level is $65.00 per month
4. Permits will be issued to individuals or carpools only and are not transferable; violations may result in a loss of parking privileges.
5. All monthly permits on A-Level will be sold to employees working in the Civic Center/Hall of Justice Complex.
6. Monthly permits in the 1910 Harney Street parking garage will be sold to employees of the City and County, and may, at some time, be sold to a limited number of employees of the surrounding businesses if space is available.
7. Monthly parkers on A-Level and in the 1910 Harney Street garage will be assigned a parking stall; however, these stall assignments are subject to change at any time.
8. Payment of Monthly Parking Fees: Please view the payment procedures and sign and return the last page.
9. Currently, the A-Level garage is available at all times for monthly parkers. The 1910 Harney Street garage is available to monthly parkers at any time except during "event parking."
   
   Long term, overnight parking is not authorized and vehicles left in the garage may be towed away or charged for storage. If you have automobile problems, notify the Building Maintenance Office at 402-444-5345 or the Security Control Station at 402-444-5330.
   
   
10. Proper security precautions should be taken at all times. Lock your car. The Building Commission will not be responsible for any damage, theft, or vandalism to automobiles.
11. Obey speed limits and traffic flow signs. Safety is always paramount violations may result in loss of parking privileges.
