Departmental Parking
A number of City and County departments have requested the ability to validate parking for visitors. Those departments are assigned a merchant code number that is encoded into trailer tickets. A number of the encoded trailer tickets are provided to an individual in each department for distribution to parkers.
The fees are charged to each department based on the hourly fee schedule of $1.50 for the first hour, or any part thereof, and $1.25 for each additional hour, or any part thereof. An invoice is sent to the departments monthly.
The individual using the trailer ticket can exit the garage by inserting the ticket they received from the ticket dispenser at the entrance and the trailer ticket into one of the two express park machines located at the exit lanes. They can also present both tickets to the cashier at the east exit lane.
